Humanity's ongoing struggle to achieve a dynamic equilibrium between peace and prosperity has been profoundly influenced by technological advancements throughout history. From prehistoric times to the present, technology has not only transformed production methods but has also reshaped human relationships, often resulting in imbalances between peace and prosperity. Today, these imbalances have reached concerning levels, prompting the United Nations to declare "Peace and Prosperity for People and the Planet, now and in the future" as the overarching goal of its Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for member countries. The advent of digitization, coupled with the ICT revolution, presents both threats and opportunities in our quest for a balanced relationship between peace and prosperity at both individual and collective levels. As we embrace rapid digital transformation, governance also finds itself at a critical crossroads, where the digital age has fundamentally altered interactions among governments, businesses, and civil society. This presents unique challenges and opportunities in achieving balance between peace and prosperity.
In this context, we invite submissions for the 11th INSEARCH-2025: International Integrative Research Conference, scheduled for December
20-21, 2025, at the Bangladesh Academy for Rural Development (BARD).
The theme of the conference is "Governance in Digital Era for
Peace and Prosperity." This theme invites exploration of how
digital technologies such as AI, big data, blockchain, e-governance platforms,
and digital public services can promote responsive, transparent, and ethical
governance. The conference will critically examine the balance between peace
(encompassing social harmony, justice, and equity) and prosperity (covering
economic growth, innovation, and environmental sustainability) through the lens
of digital governance.
Emphasizing the spirit of ‘research for realization,’ the INSEARCH Conference
is organized by Netinsearch International - Network for Integrative
Research, in collaboration with prominent institutions including the Asian
Conference on Population and Development (ACPD) in China, the Centre for Administrative Research and Innovation (CARI) at the University of
Dhaka, Stamford University Bangladesh, GAIN
International in Australia, EquJust at Tampere
University in Finland, and the Bangladesh Academy for Rural Development
(BARD) in Cumilla, Bangladesh. We are also proud to acknowledge the
support of our sponsors, Sena Kalyan Sangstha (SKS) and the Palli
Daridro Bimochon Foundation (PDBF).
The INSEARCH Conference serves as a multidisciplinary platform for high-level interaction, discussion, and debate in a supportive and reflective environment. The most distinctive feature of this conference is its connection to community-based research (CBR) conducted by Netinsearch International. CBR groups will present their research findings at the conference, creating opportunities for community participation alongside students and teachers/researchers. We particularly encourage community-based research and invite all interested parties to submit their research papers for consideration.
